1. This product is only an M.2 hard drive box and does not contain SSD.
2. ORICO NVMe M.2 chassis does not support NGFF (SATA) protocol SSD, ORICO NGFF (SATA) M.2 chassis does not support NVME protocol SSD, please confirm which protocol your SSD is before purchasing.
3. For NVME M.2 chassis to obtain 10Gbps data transfer rate, the USB 3.1 interface on your PC should be USB 3.1 Gen2. Some PCs only come with USB 3.1 Gen1, which has a maximum speed of 5Gbps.
4. It is normal for the chassis to become hot, because the high-speed M.2 drive generates a lot of heat when it is working.
5. I would like to remind you that using this M.2 case to USB adapter, your computer cannot recognize the actual SSD brand, so for Samsung SSD, you cannot use Samsung disk cloning software.
6. For a brand new SSD drive, the drive may not be found, because a brand new SSD drive should be formatted before the first use. And also need to partition the SSD drive.
