Description
This auction is about first issue of official local currency in Poland after World World II. On May 1st, 2009 local government of Kcynia has issued collectors banknote to commemerate 5th anniversary of Poland in European Community. This beautiful note has denomination of 10 Eurokcyń which was equivalent of 10 Polish Zloty.This bond was released by Polish Security Printing Works (PWPW SA) - same which is printing Polish official currency. The note is professionally printed on watermarked banknote paper with UV visible fibres, quilloche background print and is numbered with unique PWPW hologram. This note was valid in Kcynia till 31.05.2009 and throughtout its life maight be exchanged to goods and services with its face value at the accepting vendors across the city of Kcynia (please keep in mind that this is not national currency as according to the Polish law Polish National Bank is the only authority to print Polish currency).
Unique collector item with mintage of just 5 000 notes. Still in excellent price. This might be the only chance to buy this secured banknote for your collection.
